This web site serves as a community site and resource of information
for practitioners (teachers), researchers and school administrators
in Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) field.
Here you can find news and best
practices from CSCL community, links to CSCL research,
information about CSCL software tools and have discussions with
other members of the community.
The www.euro-cscl.org website has been initiated by ITCOLE (Innovative Technologies for Collaborative Learning and Knowledge Building) project. The project is funded by The European Commission in the Information Society Technologies (IST) framework; IST-00-III.2 'School of Tomorrow'.
The members of the community are the authors of the website. The members may post news to the website, share their best experiences of practicing CSCL in education by posting descriptions of their school projects, propose information about different CSCL software tools and have discussions. All the news items and articles of the Idea Bank posted to the website are edited and published by the editors selected from the people actively participating in euro-cscl.org web site.
