Well, I think that the main reason to use CSCL is to have all the ideas and knowledge produced by the students in the classroom always accessable and visible for everybody. We easily forget what we talked at the begining of the discussion and this kind of learning environment helps to keep track of how the knowledge building develops.

On the other hand if there's not enough of computers and Internet connection is slow, using CSCL may be quite frustrating. Do you think CSCL has more added value in technologically developed parts of the world?
